Chilean Standard

All of our products comply with the current Chilean regulation NCh 819 Preserved wood – radiata pine – Classification according to usage and risk in service and sampling, issued by the National Institute of Standardization, INN, which is responsible for the study and preparation of technical standards at the national level. The INN is a member of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the Pan-American Technical Standards Commission (COPANT), representing Chile before these organizations.

This standard establishes the classification of risk of deterioration that the radiata pine could endure under its various conditions of use; due to attack of biological agents, the retention and penetration requirements of the preservative, and the sampling criteria.

We work with CCA and MCA (MicroPro®) preservatives to treat radiata pine.
